Fiddle Care and Maintenance
How to make sure that your fiddle and bow stay in top shape.
Peghead Nation fiddle instructor Chad Manning demonstrates how he takes care of his instrument and bow. Chad starts out by showing proper bow tension and discusses how much rosin to apply. Using his Jonathan Cooper fiddle (check out his demo of this instrument here), Chad shows how to clean the strings using a microfiber cloth and Royal Oak string cleaner, and demonstrates cleaning the fiddle itself.
To study fiddle with Chad, enroll in his Bluegrass Fiddle and/or Beginning/Intermediate Fiddle course on Peghead Nation today.
