Muriel Anderson, Part 2: Artificial Harmonics Lesson
Muriel Anderson’s composition “Two Shores” makes use of an advanced method of playing artificial harmonics to create a huge, ringing, harp-like sound. In this lesson, Muriel teaches the technique, which combines elements of techniques used by Chet Atkins and Lenny Breau. She explains the basic technique using open strings, and shows you how she uses it on the beginning of the second part of “Two Shores” (starting at measure 52). murielanderson.com
