G minor tuning is similar to G tuning (DGDGBD), but with the B tuned down a half step to Bb, so the tuning is DGDGBbD. Doug uses the folk classic “Wayfaring Stranger” to illustrate some of the things you can do in G minor tuning. In this video, he shows you the tuning, how to modify what you know from G major tuning to play in G minor, and some basic chord voicings in G minor.
