A metal bar on metal strings makes a lot of crazy metallic sounds. In this lesson, Mike shows you some techniques that will help you clean up your playing, reduce buzzing, and get a pure tone. You’ll learn, for example, how to play a G major scale cleanly by rolling the bar back off the string when you want to take it off a string, instead of lifting it straight off; staying connected to the strings with your ring and pinky fingers; and sliding quickly to another scale tone played on the same string.
