Grigsby’s Hornpipe, Part 2
The fourth part of “Grigsby’s Hornpipe” starts with a high A note on the top string, which, because it’s tuned from to C#, means you have to reach out of first position for a second. Bruce walks you through that part, before the tune, after a repeat of the A part, goes down to the low strings for three parts. You’ll learn the melody to the rest of “Grigsby’s Hornpipe” in this video. Bruce finishes by playing all the parts through at a slow tempo.
